Fountain with a sculpture group on Spa Square

The spa square in Čeladná is decorated with a fountain from 1910, depicting a bear with a monkey.

It originally stood in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, where it was threatened with destruction by participants of the SNB course in 1953. Thanks to a local resident who hid it in his barn, the fountain was saved. In 2007, the Čeladná Rehabilitation Center acquired the fountain and placed it in its current location. The author of the sculpture is the sculptor Alois Popelář.
