In the spa park of the Čeladná Rehabilitation Center there is a bronze statue called Eve, created by sculptor David Moješčík. The two-meter sculpture depicts a woman sitting in a yoga position with her arms outstretched, almost four meters wide. The statue symbolizes protection and embrace, while the outstretched arms can also express a humble acceptance of inevitable fate.
An interesting feature is the absence of a navel, which refers to the biblical Eve created from Adam's rib. The statue was installed in front of the Dr. Storch Treatment House in 2024. The sculpture weighs approximately 360 kilograms and is placed on a three-ton pedestal. The author David Moješčík is known for his realistic figurative works, which include sculptures of Leoš Janáček and Karel Kryl. The statue of Eve enriches the spa park and contributes to a harmonious environment that supports the treatment and relaxation of patients. According to the director of the rehabilitation center, Milan Bajgar, art is an important part of the treatment process, as it positively affects the psyche of patients.
