Čeladná is also inscribed in the history of the partisan movement. The units Za vlast, Jan Žižka and Wolfram operated here. Miroslav Ivanov, for example, writes in his book about the repressive action of the Nazis under the name "Akce Tetřev", which was personally supervised by K. H. Frank. Their activities are still commemorated by monuments, of which there are several in the village.
