The Stave Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Ferdinand's Spring

In the 19th century, the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared at a spring near the pond in the Rehabilitation Center. People began to go to the spring to get water because they believed in its miraculous effects.

As a sign of gratitude for the healing, a wooden chapel was built next to the spring in 1893 by the landowner Ferdinand Brázda, who owned the farm before the spa was founded. The builder was Emil Christoph, and the beams left over from the construction of the nearby railway were used for the construction. The chapel was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The chapel was renovated in 1995–2000 and today services are held in it. On December 17, 2002, a new bell "Richard" (46 kg) from the Kadlec bell-making company from Halenkov was installed in the chapel, the purchase of which was supported by singer Richard Müller. It always rings at 6, 12 and 6 o'clock. A wooden gazebo was also built near the restored spring.
