Bedřich's Cross is made of cast iron and built on a stone mound, which was built in 1860 by the Archbishop of Olomouc and Cardinal Bedřich Egon of Fürstenberg for the inhabitants of the mountain settlement of Podolánky.
The cross is located about 120 meters west of the former hunting lodge in Podolánky, near the blue tourist sign. Cardinal Fürstenberg was known for his love of the Beskydy Mountains and often spent time at the Hukvald estate, from where he undertook hunting expeditions to the surrounding mountains.
