At the beginning of the 21st century, Čeladná transformed into one of the most sought-after places for living, recreation and active leisure in the Beskydy Mountains. The village retains its mountain atmosphere, but at the same time offers modern infrastructure and a wide range of services.
The heart of today's Čeladná is a modern square with a town hall, shops, cafes, a library and an information center.
Tourism plays a significant role in its development - the village is known primarily for its top-notch golf course, riding school and Rehabilitation Center, which continues the spa tradition. There is a wide range of accommodation and gastronomy available.
Čeladná is located in the valley of the Čeladenka River and is an ideal starting point for trips to Lysá hora, Smrk, Ondřejník, Kněhyně or Pustevny. The village has about 2,900 inhabitants and covers an area of 59 km², largely consisting of forests and meadows in the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area. It is home to rare plants and animals - lynxes, wolves and the occasional bear live in the surrounding forests.
